Usman Nurmagomedov justified why he is considered by many to be one of the best fighters outside the UFC. This Friday (31), Khabib Nurmagomedov 's cousin fought in the main event of PFL New York and simply shone. The Russian, lightweight champion (up to 70,3 kg), easily knocked out Archie Colgan in the first round. Now, the athlete has an open future in MMA.
It's worth highlighting that this was Usman's last fight under his PFL contract. Therefore, the Russian sent an important message to MMA organizations about just how good he is. A striking specialist, Khabib's cousin, comfortable in the cage, proved superior and quickly knocked down the American with a high kick and punch sequence. Colgan got up, but was shaken again and fell. Nurmagomedov landed a beautiful uppercut on his opponent, who didn't react, and delivered a series of punches, forcing the referee to stop the fight.
