Popular fighter Paulo Borrachinha has gained a new rival in the UFC light heavyweight division (up to 93 kg). Recently, the Brazilian, in his quest for the top spot in the category, intensified his animosity with Magomed Ankalaev , who knocked out Bogdan Guskov in July in Abu Dhabi (UAE), as he is slated to fight for the interim belt. But, in addition to the Russian, the athlete, one of the most vocal in the company, also got under Jiri Prochazka's skin.
After seeing Borrachinha emphasize how tedious the division is and call his loss to Carlos Ulberg "idiotic," the Czech fighter openly expressed his irritation and ended up revealing an alleged conversation he had with the UFC's top brass. In it, the bad boy would face him and not the Russian, as many imagine. Willing to face the Brazilian and tired of his self-promotion, Prochazka, who disapproves of trash talk, challenged him.
“This is just a quick message for Paulo. Don’t tag me or mention me in your posts, because you have an offer from the UFC to fight me in October or November. If you don’t want to fight me, don’t mention me or talk about me. That’s it. I’m waiting for the contract for that fight,” the athlete said on his official Instagram account.

Always attentive to what's happening in MMA , Borrachinha didn't leave the former light heavyweight champion without a response. Aware that he has already become one of the main highlights of the category after knocking out Azamat Murzakanov , the Brazilian downplayed the importance of Prochazka, who was knocked out by the injured Ulberg in the first round, and even mocked his somewhat different training methods.
“😂 Everyone wants to fight me because I’m THE GUY in this boring category. But the truth is: so far, nobody has mentioned your name to me. So, go back to doing that weird thing of yours, whatever the hell you’re doing,” the fighter wrote on his official account on 'X'.
