An unlucky incident defined the opening fight of the main card of UFC Belgrade , held this Saturday (1st). While attempting a kick to the waistline, Milos Janicic ended up hitting Noah Gugnon 's elbow , lost his balance and fell. His opponent took advantage of the moment, took his back and finished with a rear-naked choke after just over a minute of combat.
The scene unfolded in the opening seconds of the fight, when Milos threw the punch and collided with Noah's defense. After the impact, the fighter began to limp and, lacking stability, fell back to the ground after receiving a leg kick, which facilitated the sequence that resulted in the submission.

With the negative result, Janicic suffered his fourth career defeat in his UFC debut. Gugnon, who was also making his UFC debut, secured his tenth victory and extended his winning streak to six consecutive wins.
