Brazil has a new promise in the world's largest MMA organization. Michael PQD performed for the first time in the octagon at UFC Belgrade , an event held this Saturday (1st), in Serbia, and caused quite a stir. The athlete needed only one round to knock out veteran Oban Elliott and win over fans and important figures in the company, such as Jon Anik.

Immediately after PQD knocked out the Welshman in devastating fashion, the commentator, a UFC icon, was impressed by his performance and praised him. And rightly so, as the Brazilian knocked Elliott down with a jab and then finished the job with a powerful punch. As the athlete continued the hype and extended his undefeated streak in MMA, Anik made a bold prediction about his future.

"At the risk of sounding exaggerated, we may have found our next Brazilian superstar: Michael Oliveira ," said the official UFC commentator.

PQD Fighters in MMA

Michael PQD, 28 years old, is a promising Brazilian MMA fighter who competes in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg). He began his career in the sport in 2022 and made his UFC debut in 2026. In the sport, the Rio de Janeiro native has fought ten times, winning all of them, nine by knockout.
