Jean Silva has already begun his traditional trash talk for his next UFC fight. After the announcement of his fight against Yair Rodriguez as the main event of Noche UFC , scheduled for September 12th, the Fighting Nerds representative used social media to taunt his rival and build anticipation for the confrontation.

In a post on Instagram, the Brazilian appeared dressed as a hunter, wearing a panther skin, in reference to Rodriguez's nickname 'El Pantera'. In the caption, the 'Lord' reinforced the provocation by stating that 'the time for the hunt' has arrived.

This will be Jean Silva 's second appearance at Noche UFC , an event celebrating Mexican independence. In his previous appearance, in September 2025, the fighter faced Diego Lopes in a fight surrounded by controversy and provocations, but ended up being defeated by knockout in the second round.

On the other side, Yair Rodriguez will have the support of the local crowd, but will face the challenge of returning after a long period of inactivity. The Mexican hasn't fought in over a year, since his bout against Patrício Pitbull at UFC 314 , held in April 2024.
