Jean Silva knows exactly how to neutralize Yair Rodriguez 's main strengths to emerge victorious at Noche UFC . Scheduled to face the Mexican in the main event, the Brazilian adopts a cautious approach regarding his opponent's kicks, but relies on constant pressure as a strategy to secure the win.

In a video posted on his YouTube channel, Jean detailed that he intends to advance throughout the fight, controlling his opponent's actions and blocking any unexpected blows.

“I’ll walk forward, kind of blocking his hand there, that lettuce hand of his. Blocking something unexpected, which sometimes can be a spin, an elbow, as has already happened, but this time following the plan,” said Jean Silva.

The fighter also cited the fight between Melk Costa and Arnold Allen at UFC Vegas 117 as a reference , where the Briton's pressure inhibited the Dalmatian's kicks. Inspired by this scenario, Jean stated that he intends to not give Yair Rodriguez any space to work his game.

“(For example) Melk against Arnold Allen . Because Melk uses those spinning kicks well, he even knocked out Dan Ige with a spinning kick, and he couldn't do that because Arnold Allen put a lot of pressure on him, right? There was no space, so that's what I'm going to do, I'm not going to give Yair Rodriguez any space ,” he continued.

Confident, the Fighting Nerds representative projected how the fight would unfold and indicated that he might concede the initial rounds, but believes that by closing the distance, he will be able to finish the fight quickly, betting on a knockout before the judges' decision.

"He'll probably win the first round, no problem, maybe even the second. The moment I touch him, he'll go down. This other one won't go to a point, it won't go to a decision, it'll go by knockout. So that's more or less it," concluded the representative from Fighting Nerds.

This will be Jean Silva 's second appearance at Noche UFC , an event celebrating Mexican independence. In his previous appearance, in September 2025, the fighter faced Diego Lopes in a fight surrounded by controversy and provocations, but ended up being defeated by knockout in the second round.
