Frank Mir may receive a great gift on Father's Day. The legendary former heavyweight champion (up to 120,2 kg) will see his daughter, Bella Mir, fight for a UFC contract in a Contender Series bout scheduled for August 25th.
Undefeated with four wins, three by submission in the first round, 23-year-old Bella Mir is building a respectable image that goes beyond her father's credentials. In addition to excelling in MMA, the 'Lady' also has experience in grappling, having competed in RAF, and maintains an undefeated record in UFC BJJ, where she has three wins, two of them by submission.
To secure his coveted UFC contract, Mir will face Alex Apodaca, who has a record of three wins and only one loss as a professional.

Retired since 2021, Frank Mir ended his career with 19 wins and 13 losses. A former UFC champion, the heavyweight amassed notable victories over big names in the sport, such as Rodrigo Minotauro , Brock Lesnar , Mirko Cro Cop, Antônio Pezão , and Roy Nelson.
