The shocking death of Allan Puro Osso continues to reverberate in MMA. Now, it was Dana White's turn to comment on the Brazilian's passing, which happened in August (3), in São Paulo. This time, the UFC president respected the mourning of the family, friends and fans of the eternal representative of the 'Chute Boxe Diego Lima' academy.

In a scrum with journalists, held last Monday (10), Dana lamented the death of Allan Nascimento, aged 34. According to the UFC itself, the athlete apparently suffered a heart attack while sleeping. It is worth noting that previously, the executive angered the Brazilian's fans , who were shocked by his apparent insensitivity.

At the time, the UFC leader shared the news of Puro Osso's passing and, shortly after, a photo of himself smoking a cigar, accompanied by the caption 'Great Day' and a smiling emoji. After being heavily criticized for his action, Dana ended the controversy by highlighting the strong bond between the fighter and his team and stressed that the tragic episode is not the natural order of life.

“It’s horrible. And I know his entire team was literally devastated. Those guys were very sad. It’s one of those bizarre tragedies that happen, and for a guy so young, this shouldn’t happen,” said the UFC president.

Allan Nascimento, known as Puro Osso in MMA, was one of the standout fighters at the Chute Boxe Diego Lima academy and a friend of Charles do Bronx . The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2011 and debuted in the UFC in 2021. The athlete competed in the flyweight division (up to 56,7 kg).

In this fighting style, Puro Osso built a record of 22 wins, 17 by stoppage (15 by submission and two by knockout), and seven losses. His main victories were over Cody Durden , Jafel Filho , and Jake Hadley.
