MMA fans should pay attention to the promising King Edokpolo, training partner of Alex Poatan . The 2,03m tall Japanese fighter entered the Rizin 54 event, held this Tuesday (11), in Tokyo (JAP), and simply destroyed Mikio Ueda. The Asian giant knocked out his compatriot in the second round and qualified for the final of the heavyweight GP (up to 120,2 kg).

Much bigger and more powerful than his opponent, Edokpolo attacked with everything he had. The athlete landed punches, high kicks, and knee strikes on Ueda. In fact, one of King's knee strikes was so strong that it made his opponent fall to the ground. After the referee stopped the fight, the giant, thrilled with his victory, celebrated just like Poatan did when he knocked out Jamahal Hill and Magomed Ankalaev in their rematch.

King Edokpolo's MMA history

King Edokpolo, 25 years old and 2,03m tall, is a promising MMA fighter. The Japanese giant began his MMA career in 2024 and has won all four of his fights, all by knockout. He is trained by Plinio Cruz and counts Alex Poatan as one of his main teammates.
