Former professional MMA fighter, Rousimar Toquinho, was involved in an argument with an app delivery driver earlier this week. The episode took place in the Jusa Fonseca neighborhood, in Divinópolis, Minas Gerais, and was recorded on video by the delivery driver, who posted the video on social media last Monday (10). According to the delivery employee, he was allegedly assaulted by the fighter with a push.
According to the report, the former athlete became enraged because the delivery man had left his motorcycle in front of his house while making a delivery. Toquinho allegedly threatened the man and said he would return to the location. The delivery man filed a police report, and the case is under investigation.

Despite excelling in Jiu-Jitsu and MMA, Toquinho's career in combat sports was marked by controversy. As an athlete in the world's largest organization, he was fired from the UFC in 2013 after taking too long to release submissions in some of his victories. After leaving the event run by Dana White, he moved to the World Series of Fighting, where he became the middleweight champion (up to 83,9 kg). However, the problems didn't end there.
He faced veteran Jake Shield in 2015 at WSOF 22. Despite winning with a kimura, the Brazilian once again took too long to release the hold, infuriating the American, who assaulted him after the fight. Furthermore, he also poked his opponent in the eyes several times during the fight. Because of this, he had his title stripped and was banned from the organization in August of that year.
