Marcio Ticotô arrives at UFC Sacramento surrounded by expectations after an impactful debut in the organization. The Brazilian impressed by knocking out Dennis Buzujka in the first round and now seeks to repeat the performance against Ryan Kuske, in a duel valid for the featherweight division (up to 65,8 kg), next Saturday (22).

Before joining the UFC, Ticotô earned his contract last August when he faced Damon Wilson in the Contender Series. On that occasion, the athlete needed little time to demonstrate his firepower and secured a knockout victory, confirming his place in the world's premier MMA organization.

The debut maintained the characteristic that has accompanied the fighter since the beginning of his career. With 17 victories achieved in the first round, 15 by knockout and two by submission, Marcio Ticotô has built a reputation for being dangerous from the first minutes of combat.

Against Dennis Buzujka, the Brazilian drew even more attention for the strike he used to finish the fight. Ticotô landed a left cross reminiscent of Alex Poatan 's style (VIDEO BELOW) , the two-time UFC champion known for his precision and power in striking.

Now, the challenge will be against Kuske, who will try to stop the knockout artist's rise in the featherweight division. In case of another victory, Marcio Ticotô could gain even more recognition among the category's promising fighters and get closer to fights against opponents who are near the top of the rankings.
