Natalia Silva could achieve an unprecedented feat for Brazil in the UFC. According to ESPN, the Brazilian will be the next challenger for the flyweight title (up to 56,8 kg) and will face Valentina Shevchenko in the co-main event of UFC 332, scheduled for October 3rd in Salt Lake City (USA).
If she wins the title, Natália will be the first Brazilian to become champion of the women's flyweight division in UFC history. This achievement would also increase the list of weight classes that have already had representatives from the country at the top of the organization, reinforcing Brazil's tradition in MMA.

Currently, four Brazilian women have won UFC titles. The list includes Mackenzie Dern , the current strawweight champion (up to 52,2 kg), Amanda Nunes , who was a champion in two divisions, as well as Cris Cyborg and Jéssica Bate-Estaca , who also reached the top of the organization.
Beyond the title, the fight represents the biggest opportunity of the Minas Gerais native's career. A victory over Shevchenko would not only earn her the belt, but would also put the Brazilian in the spotlight for defeating a champion who made history with seven consecutive title defenses and who, after regaining the belt against Alexa Grasso , has already achieved two more.

At 29 years old, Natália is considered one of the top names in the UFC flyweight division. A professional since 2015, the Brazilian has a record of 20 wins, five losses, and one draw, with five knockout victories and seven submission wins. Among her career highlights are wins over names like Rose Namajunas , Alexa Grasso , and Jessica Andrade. She is undefeated in the organization with eight wins.
