Gregory Robocop continued his great run in his career and achieved his biggest victory. In the main event of UFC Sacramento, held this Saturday (22), the Brazilian defeated the tireless Anthony Hernandez by unanimous decision in a true battle. This was the athlete's fourth consecutive victory, which moves him up a level in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg).
With this result, Robocop, ranked number ten in the middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg), is getting closer to breaking into the top five. Tired, Robocop tried to surprise Hernandez with an uppercut. Seeking a takedown, Hernandez continued to pressure Robocop against the cage and threw elbows. In the final seconds, Robocop landed two strikes to Hernandez's midsection.
In the fourth round, Robocop returned with more energy and landed punches and kicks on Hernandez, mainly to the midsection. Resistant, Hernandez didn't give up, but Robocop hit him more than he hit him. Enjoying a good run in the octagon, Robocop landed a good sequence of blows on Hernandez, who almost fell. In the striking exchanges, Robocop continued to punish Hernandez with his volume of strikes and power. Again, Hernandez had difficulty staying on his feet. Focused, Robocop continued kicking Hernandez's legs and delivering powerful punches. Despite the damage, Hernandez continued trying to take Robocop down and succeeded, but couldn't control him. Incredibly, the fighters continued to exchange blows. Powerful, Robocop again took Hernandez down with a low kick. On the ground, Robocop controlled Hernandez, took his back, but lost the position.
