Anthony Wint impressed on Contender Series on August 11, and ten days later, he did the same in his UFC debut. This Saturday (22), at UFC Sacramento , the athlete made short work of fellow debutant Terrance Chatman and finished him quickly. If on the show ' Bow Down' he knocked out his opponent in 34 seconds, now he finished the job in four minutes.

In this way, Wint, 30, increased his hype and showed himself to be a promising fighter in the UFC heavyweight division (up to 120,2 kg). The former American football player is undefeated in MMA, with eight wins, seven of them by stoppage (five by knockout and two by submission).

Opportunistic on the ground

Fast for a heavyweight, Wint startled Chatman with a cross in the opening seconds of the fight. Then, the fighters exchanged blows. Wint sought a grappling exchange, but failed to secure a takedown on his first attempt. Undeterred, Wint took Chatman down, delivered punches, and finished with a katagatame choke.
