Carli Judice began the fight imposing her game from a distance. Taking advantage of her greater reach, the American kept Chaves under pressure and began working combinations of straight punches, alternating attacks to the head and body.

The strategy paid off when Judice landed a series of blows to the abdominal area and then connected with a powerful kick to the torso. The strike caused the Brazilian to feel the impact and created space for the American to pick up the pace.

Sensing the moment of vulnerability, Carli Judice advanced and unleashed a series of strikes until the referee stopped the fight. The result marked the American's seventh professional victory, her sixth by stoppage, while Chaves suffered the first defeat of her MMA career.
