Umar Nurmagomedov has barely suffered the toughest defeat of his career and is already thinking about his next steps in the UFC. Knocked out by Song Yadong at UFC Shanghai , Khabib Nurmagomedov 's cousin stated that he is doing well after the loss and guaranteed that he intends to correct the mistakes made in the fight before returning to the octagon.
In an Instagram post, Umar Nurmagomedov reassured fans after suffering the first knockout of his career. The Russian thanked everyone for their support on social media and stated that he intends to return to the UFC even more prepared.

With the defeat, Umar Nurmagomedov suffered his second loss in 22 career fights, the first by knockout.
