Glover Teixeira is willing to extend his career outside of the UFC. After defeating Mauricio Shogun at Spaten Fight Night 3, the former light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) is already evaluating his next steps and has revealed interest in a rematch with Jan Blachowicz , this time with a special motivation: to hold a charity fight.
In an interview with 'Combate', Glover revealed that Alexander Gustafsson 's manager is interested in promoting a boxing match, but stressed that his main interest would be to face Jan Blachowicz . The Brazilian maintains contact with the Pole through social media and stated that he would immediately accept any invitation for a charity fight.

“Gustafsson’s manager wants to make him a boxer. But honestly, there’s a guy I talk to, who’s not exactly a friend, more of a colleague, we chat on Instagram, but a guy who wanted to fight me for a charity fight for kids, and I said I’d accept right away, it’s Jan Blachowicz , the guy I won the UFC belt from,” said Glover Teixeira.
Glover also emphasized that he would be in favor of a major fight with Blachowicz to raise funds for children or other people in need. Satisfied with his current financial situation, the former champion stated that his main objective would not be the financial return from the fight and that he would accept participating if the initiative could generate a significant amount for charity.
“I’m very much in favor of this, of us having a big fight and raising this money. And if he accepts, we’ll do this fight for the children who need it, children or people who really need these things. I am, honestly, very happy financially with everything I have. If I have this opportunity with Jan Blachowicz to do this fight that will generate good money for charity, I would do it with him,” concluded Glover Teixeira.

Glover Teixeira , 46, made his mark on MMA and became a legend. The Brazilian began his career in the sport in 2002, became the UFC light heavyweight champion (up to 93 kg) in 2021, and retired in 2023.
In this style of fighting, the veteran built a record of 33 wins, 28 by stoppage (18 by knockout and ten by submission), and nine losses. His main victories were over Anthony Smith , Jan Błachowicz, Jared Cannonier , Quinton Rampage Jackson , Rashad Evans , Ryan Bader , and Thiago Marreta.
