TUF champion earns fourth UFC victory.

Daniil Donchenko confirmed why he is considered one of the most promising prospects in the welterweight division (up to 77,1 kg), winning by unanimous decision against Punahele Soriano . At 25 years old, the Ukrainian has 15 wins and only two losses in professional MMA, with nine victories by knockout.

PUBLICITY:

Donchenko gained an advantage right from the first exchange of blows, landing a good uppercut. Soriano sought to control the center of the octagon, while the Ukrainian, even with his back to the cage, was more effective with his strikes, eventually landing a powerful right hand that knocked his opponent down. Donchenko also defended his rival's takedown attempts and, varying his combinations well, had a significant advantage in the first round.

In the second round, Daniil stuck to his strategy, maintaining his movement and making it difficult for his opponent. Soriano couldn't find the ideal distance during the round, while Donchenko continued to be more precise and effective with his combinations.

Punahele continued to try and take the fight to the ground and secured a takedown with just over three minutes remaining in the round. On the ground, the Hawaiian attempted a submission, but the Ukrainian resisted his attempts until the end. At the end of the three rounds, Daniil Donchenko was declared the winner by unanimous decision.
