In his second appearance on the Contender Series, Igor Cavalcanti did not waste the chance to impress in the octagon. If in 2024 the Brazilian was defeated, this Tuesday (15), in the sixth episode of the show's tenth season, held in Las Vegas (USA), he shone.

Jacaré needed just over a minute to knock out Oscar Ravello. Convinced by the performance of the fighter from Rio Grande do Norte, Dana White signed him to join the UFC's middleweight division (up to 83,9 kg).

Massacre

The fight began and Igor quickly showed his strength. Powerful, the Brazilian gave Ravello no chance, putting all his force into his strikes. The beginning of the end for the Peruvian came when Jacaré landed a powerful right hand to his face.

With his opponent in a precarious situation, Igor, physically imposing, took advantage and punished him on the ground. It's true that Ravello resisted as best he could, but the Brazilian landed heavy punches and elbows, which made the referee stop the fight.
