Dana White clarified the controversy surrounding Justin Gaethje 's gloves after Ilia Topuria raised suspicions about the equipment used by the American at UFC Casa Branca . The executive refuted the Georgian's questioning and explained how the inspection was carried out before the fight.
In a press conference after UFC 331 , held last Saturday (19), in Los Angeles, United States, Dana highlighted that the process of putting the gloves on Gaethje was closely monitored by officials from the California athletic commission. The fight represented Topuria's first defeat in professional MMA.
