Luis Hernandez made a splash in his UFC debut. 11 days after being signed by the organization via Contender Series, the police officer agreed to replace Mickey Gall at the last minute and made short work of Sedriques Dumas this Saturday (26). On the main card of UFC Vegas 121, the athlete knocked out his opponent, who has been arrested 14 times, in 57 seconds, via standing guillotine choke.

It's worth highlighting that Hernandez competed in the Contender Series at middleweight (up to 83,9 kg), at light heavyweight (up to 93 kg) in the UFC, and now aims to compete at welterweight (up to 77,1 kg). With the show he put on at the event, the American extended his undefeated streak in MMA to nine wins, all by stoppage (six by submission and three by knockout).
Dumas, who has one of the most extensive criminal records in UFC history, is close to being cut for the second time. This was the bad boy's third consecutive loss. His 'resume' includes accusations of crimes such as robbery, home invasion, assault, possession of weapons and substances, and resisting arrest.
Rapid dominance
As usual, the aggressive Hernandez started the fight by taking the initiative and landing kicks and punches on Dumas. Noticing that Dumas was stunned by the attack, Hernandez took him down and easily submitted him via guillotine choke.

Disaster
While the first TUF 34 final ended cleanly with Tina Black's victory, the second, filled with rivalry, ended badly. This was because Mehemmedeli Osmanli landed a violent knee strike on Ilimbek Akylbek uulu while he was on the ground.
Therefore, Ilimbek won the fight by disqualification against Osmanli and, consequently, won TUF 34 in the bantamweight division (up to 61,2 kg).
That one was... not legal.
