Without a win since 2023, Elves Brener finally rediscovered his best form at UFC Vegas 121. At the event held last Saturday (26), the Brazilian delivered a beautiful knockout to Josiah Harrell in the first round. And, to end the sequence of three defeats, the member of the 'Chute Boxe Diego Lima' team had a significant motivational boost.

In an interview still in the octagon and with UFC Brazil, Elves revealed that he not only felt the presence of the late Allan "Puro Osso ," but also detailed the conversation he had with him before and during the fight against the American. It is worth noting that the former fighter passed away in August, at the age of 34, a victim of a heart attack while sleeping.
However, despite the sad event, Puro Osso's bond with his friends and teammates was so strong that it remains alive in the spiritual realm, as Brener's account shows. In fact, after winning, the visibly emotional athlete made a point of honoring his friend by wearing an armband with his name, a gesture he himself used to dedicate his triumphs to his deceased father.
“Every day we remember. Being able to remember Alan Puro Osso, who was always in my corner. He was Chute Boxe, we are Chute Boxe. And he was here with me. I heard his voice in my head. Him, 'Calm down, champion, calm down, move, feint'. We are entering with his name.”
"He was a guy who was always in my corner too, always sharing his time with us, saying something nice. Only good memories remain in the heart and mind. I don't know what we take from this life, I have no idea, but one thing is certain, the joy of having known a guy like that and keeping him alive in our hearts, I think it's very worthwhile."
"As I've already told Diego before, he's a guy I'll carry in my heart forever. I'll be old, with a white beard, remembering him, because that's what he left behind. He left this joy, this happiness, and that's very good."
