The Ultimate announced new fights for the Doha card in Qatar this Tuesday (29). Among the confirmed fights is the duel between Tallisson Xicão and Shamil Gaziev , valid for the heavyweight category (up to 120,2 kg). The fighters will face off on November 21.

Xicão, 26, is looking to bounce back after suffering his second defeat in professional MMA. The Brazilian was knocked out by Sergei Pavlovich in the first round in May and now has a record of nine wins and two losses, with seven wins by knockout and one by submission. Before the setback, the heavyweight was coming off a victory over Tai Tuivasa , won by unanimous decision at UFC 325.

On the other side, Shamil Gaziev arrives riding high after getting back on the winning track. In August, at UFC Sacramento, the fighter needed only 1 minute and 20 seconds to knock out Kennedy Nzechukwu with a powerful strike in the first round.

The victory ended a two-fight losing streak for Gaziev, who had been knocked out by Brando Pericic and Waldo Cortes Acosta . At 36 years old, the heavyweight has a record of 15 wins and three losses in professional MMA, with 10 wins by knockout and three by submission.
